Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cnovawave.com (the "Site"), operated by Consultations NovaWave Inc. ("NovaWave," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms govern the Site only. They do not govern any professional services engagement — if you become a client, that relationship is governed by a separate signed agreement (such as a Master Services Agreement, Engagement Letter, or Statement of Work), which controls over anything on this Site in the event of a conflict.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or any related network.
- Submit false, misleading, or malicious information through any form on the Site.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the Site, other than standard search engine indexing.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation or security.
2. No Professional Advice
Content on the Site — including descriptions of services, statistics, and general commentary on cybersecurity, compliance, governance, or AI topics — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, security, compliance, or other professional advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. Any engagement for professional advice or services requires a separate signed agreement with NovaWave.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the NovaWave name and marks, and the design and layout of the Site — is owned by NovaWave or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages of the Site for personal, non-commercial reference, but you may not copy, reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from the Site's content without our prior written consent.
4. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to third-party services, including Calendly (for scheduling) and LinkedIn. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site, and linking to them does not imply endorsement.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NovaWave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NovaWave, its officers, directors, and personnel from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Québec, Canada.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
